The gas mileage isn't as good as a car, but it has been about 14 to 16 miles per gallon. It has features that I didn't know that I would want, such as heated seats and backs on the seats. The four-wheel drive has always worked well. It has very little rust, even though it is 12 years old. My Chevy 1500 Silverado Z71, though used, has been a very solid truck. I then proceeded to drive my friends home and actually got suckered into shoveling a few driveways before I headed back home to sleep. I guess it pays to own a Chevy pickup during those tough months.
